Okay, by now it’s been (quick cut to vision of Lewis Black)…SLAMMED! into your head that you have to have to have to have a domain name with your money making keyword in it.  Do not be frustrated and do not get rid of your current domain name if you have quality back links.

Google recently stepped up where Yahoo dropped the ball with their on-again, off-again Overture Keyword Tool.   Check it out here:   Where this tool rocks: it tells you the number of searches per month and it has proven to be accurate.  You also are given a list of associated keywords and phrases you may not have considered.  This is a free tool.

Tip: If you buy a domain name, do buy it for more than a year.  Rumors are that search engines that start with “G” may assign less relevance to a domain that is purchased for a short time (the minimum is 1 year).
