With the proliferation of social networking sites (any number posted here will be outdated by tomorrow; there are hundreds now), business owners may very well feel stymied on where to begin. A blog, which is basically sharing with your visitors a more personal side of you and your company, seems manageable but a little time consuming.
What about the rest of it? How does being in the Twitter community constitute value? You may be surprised to know that everyone from small to successful entrepreneurs have a presence in social communities.
One way to start is to have a link list of your social memberships. Facebook and LinkedIn are well known and respected as of this post
And always have easy ways for your visitors to reach you. Include a place for them to leave a comment on your site.
If not now, eventually you will achieve a “social voice” of how you want to be know in social communities. Examples of a social voice? How about useful, intelligent, or entertaining?
